What Are The 3 R's?
Reduce
"Reduce" is when you are conservative with what you use and you don't throw in that much waste into the trash. One way you could do this is by purchasing a reusable water bottle so you don't use and throw plastic bottles away.
"Reuse" is when you take anything that you would normally trash or recycle and use it to make something that you will probably keep at home. For example, instead of throwing food scraps into the trash you can put them into the composter and will get nutrient rich compost for your plants.
Reuse
"Recycle" is at the end of the cycle but it is also the most important. Recycle is when you put all of the items that are meant to be recycled are carried into a recycling facility where they will use the materials to make new stuff that we can use. The 4 main categories that can be recycled are Paper, Plastic, Glass, and Aluminum and Bi-Metals.
Recycle
Why Do we need to follow them
Adopting the practice of reducing, reusing, and recycling is an absolute necessity for the well-being of our planet. Not only does it help to conserve natural resources and reduce pollution, but it also significantly reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills, which also reduces greenhouse gas emissions. By confidently embracing these practices, we can all play a vital role in creating a more sustainable future.
